After Jose Mourinho’s leaky Manchester United back line conceded first against Premier League opponent AFC Bournemouth on Saturday lunch time, it’s fair to say the Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho didn’t look very impressed to say the least.
The former Premier League champions have been extremely poor at the back all through the season, and it seemed as though their poor backline will once again cost Jose’s team once again this weekend after Wilson’s opener for the host team.
Fortunately for the Red Devils and their under-fire tactician Jose Mourinho, they successfully mounted an important comeback and sealed a 2-1 victory, but having now let in a total of 18 goals in 11 English Premier League matches, there is still reason for worry with the defence.
Having been exposed before Wilson scored the opening goal, video replays picked up Jose Mourinho’s reaction to the Bournemouth goal and he surely looked like he was extremely fuming with his team’s poor defending.
Further, as cited in the numerous tweets, many fans that watches believe that the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss said: “Of course, of course”, thus insinuating that he was not caught by surprise that his backline had been carved open so easily once again.
It remains to be known whether the under-fire tactician can find a quick answer to make the team tighter and solid in defence, but right now, it seems as though Mourinho his frustrations might linger on and it could cost the side in the pursuit for major honours this current season.
