Odd’s slashed On Mourinho Getting Sacked By Manchester United

The odds of Jose Mourinho been sacked by Manchester United at the end of the season have been dramatically slashed in the last twenty four hours after the Portuguese seen his side lose 1-0 to Feyenoord in the Europa League.

United’s loss against the Eredivisie leaders was the club’s second consecutive defeat in a row having lost to Manchester City in the derby at Old Trafford the previous Saturday.

The result prompted bookmakers to cut the odds on Mourinho getting sacked by United from 25/1 to 12/1 and even gave odds as little as 12/5 for the club to end the season outside the top four.

Dave Burin the spokesman of Ladbrokes stated that if United’s poor form continues the special one could be getting the sack for the second year in a row.

Mourinho will be hoping that his side can get back to winning ways on Sunday as they entertain Watford at vicarage road. The hornets have endured a mixed start to the new campaign but recently came back from 2-0 down to beat West Ham United 4-2 at the Olympic stadium and whilst United may have lost their last two games .Mourinho will still be confident about taking all three points away from Walter Mazzarri’s men.

In Jose Mourinho Manchester United have one of if not the finest manager in world football who is unquestionably the right man to take the club forward. Having managed the likes of Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Porto in the past the Portuguese has proved time and time and again that he is a born winner and to even suggest sacking him at this stage is Ludacris.

Prior to the Manchester derby Mourinho had named virtually the same starting eleven which seen the club win each of their opening four games. That eleven which included the likes of Luke Shaw, Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia and Maraoune Fellaini played a key role in the clubs winning start to the season and are all likely to be recalled by Mourinho for the Watford clash.

Throughout his managerial career Mourinho has had a habit of naming the same starting eleven week in week out and making little if any changes to his side. We have already seen throughout the early parts of the season what Mourinho can bring to Manchester United and should he go back to the starting eleven which seen him pick up four wins on the bounce results will undoubtedly start to follow.

  1. Well, what are the odds now? Jose already seems to be making the same mistakes at United as he did last season at Chelsea. Publicly blaming players for; not adhering to the game plan, making individual errors, under performing, not playing with sufficient intensity, not having the right mentality, etc. etc.
United are already looking like they will struggle to finish higher than last season’s fifth olace.
