Arsenal are set to lock horns with Manchester United for the signature of Brazilian sensational winger Malcom according to the Sun.
Report has it that the Gunners are preparing for life without contract rebel Alexis Sanchez and have targeted the Brazilian star as a potential replacement.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano as reported by the Sun, the North London club have contacted Bordeaux for Malcom availability and are set to meet with the player representative.
A bid of £35million were reported by Dortmund for Malcom signature was reported turned down by the Ligue One club last summer as Bordeaux are unwilling to let the player go for a price lower than their £45million valuation.
The 20-year old star has also been linked to United in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho seeks to strengthen his attack.
However, it seems the Portuguese tactician has given up interest in Malcom with report in the English press claiming fellow Brazilian winger Lucas Moura has agreed personal terms with United.
The highly skillful winger joined Bordeaux in January 2016 from Brazilian club Corinthians.
The South American star has been on a fine run of form this season with seven goals to his name.
It is also reported that Tottenham are also interested in the services of the Samba boy.
